Minn Kota Salt Water Brush End Housing Assembly for 4-1/2″ Diameter Lower Units

Fits all saltwater Minn Kota trolling motor models with 112# of thrust  from 2014 – 2018 and many models from 2019.

This part will come with the prop shaft seals and flange bearing already installed

Anytime a lower unit is reassembled, the thru bolts need to be tightened within 40 – 50 inch pounds for 4-1/2″ diameter lower units

In June of 2019, the 112 pound lower units went through a design change.  Minn Kota removed the timing key on the Center Housing and the mating Brush End Housing. (The key was there to help prevent the skag from being rotated and affecting the motor timing.) The new design better positions the O-ring against the shoulder of the Brush End Housing.  If your motor is from 2019, you will need to check for the presence of the key slot in your Brush End Housing.
